Mrs. Francis A. Hamm died Wednesday evening about 9 o’clock at her home, 1108 E. Pike Street after an illness of some time caused by malignant jaundice. Funeral services will be held Friday and burial will be made in the cemetery at Alamo. Mrs. Hamm was the wife of Arthur Hamm and had lived in Crawfordsville about a year. She was born in Boone County Nov 7, 1862 and was 49 years and one day at the time of death. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Sampson and besides her husband is survived by four children. Her stepmother, Mrs. Shade, a brother, Will Sampson and a sister, Mrs. Will H. Standish all of this city are also living. – kbz
